Emisfero Boreale is an Italian progressive rock musical band formed in September 1978. The group’s activity took place through concerts in popular festivals and cultural events in the Milanese underground artistic and music circuit until 1993.
After 26 years, between 2019 and 2022, Emisfero Boreale got together for the creation of the new album “Pulsazioni”.

Our current return serves to not forget the sound of voices that characterized those important years.”

“We have decided to return now because it is a difficult time for cultural initiatives and progressive music.”

“There are so many reasons why we didn’t release an official record at the end of the ‘70s: so many bands were playing progressive; could we have ever added anything?”

“Pulsazioni” was born with the idea of recreating the same atmospheres and conditions of the late ‘70s / early ‘80s. For this reason we left for Spain in a car full of pots & pans and musical instruments.

“We have recommenced from our origins and from some historical pieces of our repertoire, maintaining the sound and authenticity of our first steps: the next album by Emisfero Boreale will probably be dedicated to understanding the current time.”

Speaking of the atmosphere of those years (the Seventies), many years ago a music manager told us, “The era of love and friendship is over; the 80s are coming”.
